Tanya Bashor

Midlife Recalibration Mentor™

Hi, I’m Tanya.

And honestly? I don’t think you can really decide to work with someone until you know a little about who they are and how they came to this work. So here’s a little about me.

First and foremost, I’m a mother, a woman who has lived a lot of life, and someone who came to this work the hard way — through my own healing, heartbreak, rebuilding, and learning how to trust myself again.

After 22 years in an abusive marriage, divorce became the beginning of coming back to myself. It was one of the hardest things I’ve ever done. At the time, I didn’t have the language, tools, or understanding of trauma and the nervous system that I have now. I muddled through it the best I could. I took imperfect action. I cried, doubted myself, second-guessed myself, and kept going anyway because deep down I knew I could not stay where I was another day.

Years later, after Covid, I began studying trauma-informed care, narcissistic abuse recovery, Brainspotting, hypnotherapy, and somatic approaches to healing. What started as my own healing journey slowly became the work I now do with women every day.

And truthfully, life kept giving me opportunities to practice what I was learning.

A few years ago, I walked away from a toxic work environment and a boss who constantly kept me in stress and survival mode. That decision was difficult too. But it reinforced something I now know deeply: Self-trust is rarely loud or dramatic. Most of the time, it’s quiet. It’s the small inner voice that says, “This no longer feels right for me.”

That’s the woman I work with now.

The woman who looks fine on the outside but knows her life no longer fits.

The woman who has spent years caring for everyone else while slowly losing connection with herself.

The woman who is tired of overriding her own needs, intuition, exhaustion, or truth just to keep the peace.

Through my lived experience, my faith, and the tools I’ve gathered through Somatic Coaching, Brainspotting, and Hypnotherapy, I help women reconnect with themselves in a gentler, more honest way.

Not through shame.

Not through pressure.

Not through “fixing” themselves, because I don’t believe you are broken.

I believe many women have simply spent years disconnected from their own voice while surviving, caregiving, over-giving, performing, people pleasing, or holding everything together for everyone else.

As a Midlife Recalibration Mentor™, I walk beside women through that tender in-between space; between who they’ve been and who they’re becoming. Together, we listen for the part that has been quietly asking for more, the part that has been trying to lead them home to themselves all along.

This work is about creating a safe place for you to:

-Soften.
-Exhale.
-Grieve what needs grieving.
-Rest without guilt.
-Feel what you’ve been too busy or too overwhelmed to feel.

Inside the Midlife Recalibration Experience™, all of you is welcome — your emotions, your body, your faith, your story, your questions, your uncertainty, and the woman you are still becoming.

I don’t believe healing should make women feel crappy inside or feel smaller.

I don’t believe in fear-based spirituality. and I don’t believe healing has to look perfect to be real.

My intention is simple: to help you feel supported, grounded, understood, and safe enough to begin trusting yourself again.

Because healing isn’t about turning into someone new.

It’s about reconnecting with the woman you were always meant to be.
